Ho-Pin Tung set the best time in the first practice session for the 3 Hours of Shanghai, the third race of the Asian season Le Mans Series played in China. The driver of the Oak Racing Morgan-Judd set a time of 1'41"735, beating the Eurasia Motorsport Oreca 03-Nissan driven by Pu Jun Jin by more than a second. Morris Chen set the best GT time with a lap of 1'47 at the wheel of the No. 689 BMW Z4 of Team AAI.
