The FIA has unveiled the categorization of drivers, used in several championships including the WEC, in preparation for the 2016 season. Among the main changes, Earl Bamber (winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Porsche), João Barbosa (champion United Sportscar Championship 2015), Maximilian Buhk (champion Blancpain Sprint Series 2015), Christopher Mies et Harry Tincknell sont désormais catégorisés Platinum.
In the French clan, Vincent Abril (2015 Blancpain Sprint Series champion), Tom Dillmann will notably have Gold status. The full list can be viewed here.
