The adventure started in 2018 between Dane Cameron and Acura will not continue in 2022. A few days after the IMSA final at Petit Le Mans and Mazda's coronation, the 33-year-old driver confirmed the end of his collaboration with the sporting branch of Honda in the United States.

Formerly with Team Penske, which is also associated with Acura, Dane Cameron was crowned IMSA champion in 20219 alongside Juan Pablo Montoya.
