William Turquetil died at the age of 73 following an accident. Appreciated for his great technical expertise, William Turquetil participated in the creation of Le Mans Series (LMS) in the 2000s then the World Endurance Championship (WEC). He had worked for four decades within the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO).
