Derek Bell, historical figure of theEndurance with five victories 24 Hours of Le Mans (1975-1981-1982-1986-1987) or triple winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona was named Grand Marshal for the opening round of the WEC 2014 à Silverstone en Angleterre le 20 avril prochain. Il donnera ainsi le départ de la course anglaise, qui verra notamment les débuts en piste de la nouvelle Porsche 919 Hybrid, face aux Audi R18 e-tron quattro et Toyota TS040 Hybrid en LM P1.
