As expected, Loïc duval joins the ranks of Audi in the World ChampionshipEndurance. The Frenchman will participate in three races: The 12 Hours of Sebring on March 17, the 6 Hours of Spa on May 5 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans June 16-17. He will support the No. 18 R3 TDI (therefore not equipped with a hybrid system) by the German Timo Bernhard and the Frenchman Romain Dumas, both winners of the Le Mans double clock race in 2010. As for Rockenfeller, he will be good of the game at Le Mans, since he will come to lend a hand to the Italian Marco Bonanomi and the Briton Oliver Jarvis, who was made official at the beginning of February during the ACO press conference announcing the entries in the WEC and at Le Mans.
The trios for Le Mans are therefore Tréluyer-Lotterer-Fässler and McNish-Kristensen-Capello on the two hybrid models. On the TDI, Dumas-Bernhard-Duval and Bonanomi-Jarvis-Rockenfeller.
