EL3 – Crash of the TDS Vaillante and Drapeau Rouge
The third free practice sessions of 24 Hours of Le Mans is interrupted following the very violent exit from the track of Philippe Cimadomo at the wheel of the Oreca LMP2 of Team TDS Racing x Vaillante.

A misunderstanding on the very fast straight following the Virage du Pont, with Sean Gelael on the WRT Oreca, propelled the unfortunate driver into the tire walls. Although the car is badly damaged, Cimadomo fortunately got out of the passenger compartment under his own power.
While the session resumes after a 15-minute interruption, work continues on the Toyota No. 8 who has still not returned to the track.
