The #015 G-Drive Racing Gibson 38S-Nissan of Simon Dolan – Harry Tincknell – Giedo van der Garde was the fastest during the first free practice session for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring in Spielberg in Austria, with a best time achieved in 1'21″809.
Paul-Loup Chatin, associated with Timothé Buret and Fabien Barthez, lifts the Ligier JS P2-Nissan of the Panis-Barthez Compétition into second position by more than half a second. The first Oreca 05, entered by DragonSpeed for Henrik Hedman, Nicolas lapierre and Ben Hanley, completes the top three at 0″672.
In LM P3, Panis-Barthez Compétition stood out once again, with the No. 3 Ligier JS P16 of Simon Gachet – Eric Debard – Valentin Moineault at the forefront of the category, with a time of 1'26″644 , which is ahead of the two examples from United Autosports.
