G-Drive Racing seems well on its way to winning at Silverstone. The Gibson 015S of Simon Dolan managed by Jota Sport has just regained the lead of the race against the Ligier JS P2 Panis-Barthez Compétition of Fabien Barthez 1h45 from the finish. The Oreca 05 of Thiriet by TDS Racing, which started on pole, retired following Pierre Thiriet's exit from the track, trapped by the wet conditions at the start of the race.
United Autosports leads the LMP3 with Mark Patterson leading the way in the No. 3 Ligier JS P3 ahead of Christian England's No. 2 sister car. There Ferrari F458 Italia No. 66 from JMW Motorsport leads the GTE with Andrea Bertolini.
