In view of the 2016 season, the European Le Mans Series will make a modification to the qualifications. The two twenty-minute sessions will give way to three 10-minute sessions, one for each LM P2, LM P3 and GTE category. This format will be introduced from the opening round at Silverstone in Great Britain, on April 16.
Note that for the Spa-Francorchamps event, the duration of the sessions could be extended, in order to allow all competitors to cover enough laps of the circuit during qualifying.
