Mathias Beche placed the Oreca 05-Nissan of Thiriet by TDS Racing at the head of the second free practice session of theELMS at the 4 Hours of Paul-Ricard (Var). The Swiss set a time of 1'48''505, ranking a few thousandths of the reference established by Nicolas lapierre on the Dragonspeed Oreca 05 in the first session.
The No. 46 was two tenths ahead of the Eurasia Motorsport Oreca 05 entrusted to Tristan Gommendy. The Asian team was able to repair its LMP2 following Pu Junjin's exit from the track, who will remain unavailable for the weekend after having had to be hospitalized. Olivier Pla set the third time, nine tenths behind the benchmark in Krohn Racing's Ligier JS P2.
Alex Brundle was the fastest LMP3 driver with a time of 1'54''869 in the No. 2 United Autosports. In GTE, Marco Cioci was the best performer with a time of 1'57''406 achieved at the wheel of the Ferrari 458 n°51 from AF Corse.
