Less than a month from 24 Hours of Le Mans that they will compete in the C6.R ZR1 n°74 with Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia, the American Jordan Taylor shows that he is in good shape. At Belle Isle (Detroit), he took pole position for the fifth round of the Grand-Am at the wheel of the Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP which he shares with Max Angelelli. Thanks to a lap completed in 1'27"675, he beat another Corvette DP, that of GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing of Fogarty-Gurney and the Riley-Ford Starworks Motorsport of Popow-Dalziel. The leading quarter is completed by the Star Motorsports Corvette DP 8 at the wheel of which we find the Frenchman Stéphane Sarrazin, the Portuguese Pedro Lamy and the Venezuelan Enzo Potolicchio.
