Two cars will be entered in WEC for Nicolas duos Cheers-Neel Jani and Andrea Belicchi-Harold Primat. If the latter will be supported by the Dutchman Jeroen Bleekemolen at the 12 Hours of Sebring (March 17) as well as at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 16-17), the first named will receive reinforcement from a former pilot of Formula 1, Namely Nick Heidfeld. The German will be there for the first three rounds, in Florida, Spa (May 5) and Sarthe. A luxury recruitment which does not displease Bart Hayden, the Director of Rebellion Racing.

“We have had a number of contacts with leading drivers wanting to join our team for the longer races such as Sebring and Le Mans, He says. Nick Heidfeld was available and looking for a new challenge. Nick will be a valuable asset to the team, he is fast, very experienced, enthusiastic and very happy to be part of Rebellion Racing. We are pleased to welcome Nick to the team and look forward to the start of the season next month at the 12 Hours of Sebring, which will be the opening round of the new FIA World Endurance Championship.".
