More than two months later, the 4 Hours Monza has a new victorious crew in GT. Victorious at first, the Ferrari No. 60 of the Iron Lynx had been disqualified for violating parc ferme regulations.

Davide Rigon was in fact accused of having been pushed by his Iron Dame teammate, Rahel Frey, after the race, the Italian being unable to return to the pits due to lack of fuel after the finish. Nevertheless, “the commissioners considered this to be an infringement of article 15.1.1 of the sporting regulations of theELMS (…) The Parc Fermé rules were not respected, because, at the end of the competition, the area between the finish line and the entrance to the Parc Fermé is placed under Parc Fermé regulations; this means that no car is allowed to receive any assistance from any other competitor (…) Therefore, the stewards have decided to disqualify the competitors of car no. 60 from the race result,” the official document states. of the European Le Mans Series.

The Italian team appealed this decision and the crew composed of Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni and Davide Rigon finally recovered their property, in front of the Porsche n°77 of Proton Competition (Ried, Ferrari, Bruni). The trio thus returns to second place in the championship, 13 points behind that of Proton.
