André Lotterer (Audi n°1) retains the lead at the start in front of the R18 n°3 of Loic duval. Allan McNish prend la troisième position sur la n°2 devant les deux Toyota de Stéphane Sarrazin et Alexander Wurz. John Martin est en tête des LMP2 sur l’Oreca 03-Nissan n°25 d’ADR Delta devant la Morgan-Judd n°24 d’Olivier Pla.
