Ousted from the Pescarolo 03 project in recent days in favor of British driver Stuart Hall (driver imposed by Roald Goethe, owner of the Pescarolo 03, who participates at the last moment in financing the car. Editor's note), Julien Jousse does not hide his disappointment with his ex-mentor, Henri Pescarolo, to the point of appealing to justice to determine the damage caused to his career.

“My disappointment is immense not to be at the wheel of this Pescarolo that I have been waiting for since the start of the season. This challenge Pescarolo 03 /ex-Aston Martin motivated my choice to stay with Pescarolo Team despite the financial situation that I knew was very difficult after leaving Autovision. This is why I took the Spa package without flinching,” admits the French driver in a letter addressed to the press where he explains his motivation for seizing the new prototype from Pescarolo and with which he was to participate in the next 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“It was his (Henri Pescarolo. Editor's note) stubborn refusal not to help me relocate somewhere and this indifference, which motivated my advice to defend me, because it is a terrible stop to my career while I do not think that I have sincerely deserved it. Henri had chosen this precautionary seizure procedure against the two Ferrari Luxury, I did the same, he can't blame me! », before concluding: “The objective of my approach is not to destroy Pescarolo Team, but simply to be present at the 24 Hours of Le Mans”.

This presence will obviously not be with the Pescarolo team, but perhaps in LM P2 with the support of the Alan Docking Racing (ADR) team. As for the Pescarolo team, if this seizure is confirmed and its participation in the test day on Sunday (June 3) was impossible, this would result in an automatic withdrawal from the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 16-17), due to the fact that it is a new car requiring minimum testing on the Le Mans track before the race. It is now up to the courts to decide.
