Ligier European Series – Race 1: Henrion wins by a wide margin

Already crowned champion since the previous round at Spa-Francorchamps, Gillian Henrion scored another victory this season by winning race 1 at Portimão (Portugal). In the Algarve, the Frenchman from Team Virage was almost 50 seconds ahead of his compatriot Natan Bihel (M Racing) as well as the Romanian Stefan Mihnea (Smart Driving) at the end of a race controlled from start to finish.

Laurent Piguet and Fabien Delaplace won in JS 2R for the CTF Performance team. The duo beat Horst Felix Felbermayr (RLR MSport) and Laurent Millara (M Racing).

Meet at 16:15 p.m. (French time) for the second race of the day which will also be the last of the season in the Ligier European Series.
