Panis Racing on the podium again at Spa

The race weekends follow one another and are similar for Panis Racing. After a third place at Le Mans and a victory at Monza, the French team reached the podium for the third time in a row at Spa-Francorchamps. Starting in tenth position on the grid, Julien Canal took advantage of a chaotic start to sneak up to fourth place. “ We arrived as winners after the Monza race, but here in Spa nothing was decided. The testing session in the rain on Wednesday deprived us of precious time to fine-tune our settings. I started 10th on this legendary track and I am happy to have narrowly avoided a crash involving several cars right in front of me,” said the Frenchman after the race. Placed in an ideal position after this takeoff, James Allen and Will Stevens finished the work started by their teammate to finish on the podium. If the title is now decided, second place in LM P2 looks close with three teams still in the running for the last round of the season at Portimão: G-Drive (64 points), Panis Racing (62,5) and United Autosports (61).
