Driving the news Peugeot 908, Franck Montagny set the best time in the warm-up for the 1 Hours of Sebring in 50'150"12. The Frenchman, who shares the wheel of the car wearing the No. 8 with his compatriot Stéphane Sarrazin and the Portuguese Pedro Lamy, is ahead of Olivier Panis, aboard the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP of Team Oreca Matmut, and Tom Kristensen and his Audi R15 more. In fourth place, we find the HPD ARX-01e from Highcroft Racing.
If in LMP2, the Signatech Nissan team and its Oreca 03 once again showed their advantage, it was BMW and its M3 which set the best time in GTE.
Meet at 15:30 p.m. French time for the start of an event that promises to be very competitive. As a reminder, it is the Peugeot 908 of Stéphane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny and Pedro Lamy which will start from pole position, just next to the Audi R15 plus of Romain Dumas, Timo Bernhard and Mike Rockenfeller.
