Disappointment in the Turkish clan in LM P2. The Racing Team Turkey team will not participate in the Hyperpole, the final qualifying session for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this Thursday evening. The team saw its best time canceled: Dries Vanthoor did not slow down sufficiently during a red flag procedure, a violation of the regulations which was punished by the cancellation of the best time in qualifying.

A hard blow for Racing Team Turkey, which loses its place in Hyperpole and which will start on Saturday in 11th place in the LM P2 category. “Our morale is good, we have a 24-hour marathon ahead of us and we are fully motivated to win”, reacted the Turkish team on social networks. This sanction benefits the crew of the No. 14 Nielsen Racing, which wins its ticket for the Hyperpole on Thursday evening (20 p.m. – 20:30 p.m.).
