The Marc VDS team will be well engaged in motorsport in 2016, despite the announcement of the cessation of activities at the end of last year. The training will engage a Renault RS01 in Renault Sport Trophy (contested alongside theELMS) for the duo Markus Palttala – Fabian Schiller.
The Finnish Palttala is no stranger to Team Marc VDS, having won the 24 Hours of Spa last year in the Belgian team's BMW Z4. Fabian Schiller is coming off a contested season in the European Championship F3, and will start in a closed car.
