Christian Fittipaldi was the fastest test driver at the 12 Hours of Sebring in the final practice session. The driver of the No. 5 Mustang Sampling Racing Cadillac DPi completed a lap of the Florida circuit in 1:49, beating the No. 211 Rebellion Racing Oreca 07 driven by Neel Jani by a tenth. Luis Felipe Derani placed the No. 13 ESM Nissan DPi in 2rd, ahead of the No. 3 Whelen Engineering Racing Cadillac DPi of Dane Cameron and the No. 31 ESM Nissan DPi of Brendon Hartley.
Dirk Müller a signé le meilleur temps des GTLM avec un chrono de 1’56’’556 obtenu au volant de la Ford GT n°66 qui a devancé de deux dixièmes la BMW M6 n°24 de Nicky Catsburg et les Porsche 911 RSR de Kévin Estre et Dirk Werner.
Gustavo Yacaman was the fastest in PC with a lap completed in 1’53”340 in the #26 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports. In GTD, it was Michael Christensen who set the category benchmark with a time of 2:00 at the wheel of the No. 491 Alegra Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.
