Forced to retire after being hit twice on the track on Saturday evening around 21:30 p.m., the German Sophia Floersch spoke out after coming to her senses. Questioned after Franco Colapinto indicated that he did not understand why the German had braked, the Richard Mille Racing driver was not kind to the young Argentine, the youngest in the field (18 years old). “In front of me, a United braked because we were in a slow zone. So I braked too and then Colapinto came hard, out of nowhere, and hit me. I am extremely frustrated and angry after what happened. We were 11th, with a lot of possibilities for the next few hours. Finishing the race without having done anything wrong is hard to digest.” Car #1 was forced to retire. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
