A trio of Mercedes drivers for WeatherTech Racing at Petit Le Mans

No Cooper MacNeil on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 No. 79 in Petit Le Mans (1er october). The boss-driver of WeatherTech Racing will skip the finale of the 2022 season of theIMSA leaving his place to three Mercedes factory drivers, namely Mikaël Grenier, Maximilian Götz and Maximilian Buhk. The first two will even race for the first time at Road Atlanta.
WeatherTech Racing drivers Maximilian Götz, Maximilian Buhk and Mikaël Grenier will compete in the No. 79 WeatherTech Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 at the season finale IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Sept. 28 – Oct. 1.

« I have never raced at Petit Le Mans but every year I followed the race as a fan and supporter of Mercedes and my friends who raced here, emphasizes Maximilian Götz. I can not wait to be there. It’s an old-fashioned circuit a bit like the Nordschleife with its ups and downs but also its blind turns.."
