The final round of the 2014 United Sportscar Championship season at Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans, crowned the No. 5 Corvette DP of Action Express Racing, driven by Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi, helped for the occasion by Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais. Second in the race behind the sister car of the Taylor brothers and Max Angelelli (Wayne Taylor Racing), Barbosa and Fittipaldi also took advantage to win the Drivers' title.

In the other categories, the PC title went to the Core Autosport duo Colin Braun and Jon Bennett, 2nd in the event behind the victorious Starworks Motorsports Oreca FLM09 of Renger van der Zande, Mirco Schultis and Alex Popow.

En GT, la catégorie LM a vécu une course agitée, avec notamment un accrochage dans les stands entre la Porsche n°911, the Ferrari 458 Italia of the Risi Competizione, and the Corvette n°3. In the end, it was the trio Wolf Henzler, Bryan Sellers and Marco Holzer (Falken Tire Porsche) who won, the title going to Kuno Wittmer (Dodge – SRT Motorsports) among the drivers and to Porsche among the Manufacturers. The GTD class saw race victory for Christopher Haase, Matthew Bell and Bryce Miller in the Paul Miller Racing Audi R8 LMS Ultra while the drivers' crown went to Dane Cameron (BMW – Turner Motorsports) and Porsche among manufacturers.
