Qualifying for the 24 Hours of Daytona has just ended. Pole position for this 53rd edition goes to Oswaldo Negri Jr and Michael Shank Racing. At the wheel of the #2 Ligier JS P60-Honda, the Brazilian completed a lap in 1'39"194. Followed by the two Riley-Fords from Chip Ganassi Racing entrusted for the occasion to Scott Dixon (+0 »108) and Scott Pruett (+0 »115).
Johnny Mowlem (No. 09 Oreca 54 FLM from BAR1 Motorsports), Oliver Gavin (No. 7 Corvette C4.R) and James Davison (Aston Martin Vantage V12 Vantage n°007 of TRG AMR) shone respectively in LM PC, GTLM and GTD.
