At the end of the first two sessions of the Roar before the Rolex 24 at Daytona, contested in winter conditions, the Corvette DPs are in the lead ahead of the LMP2s. The best time was achieved by the No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP driven by Sébastien Bourdais, Christian Fittipaldi and Joao Barbosa with a time of 1'38"630. In comparison, the Extreme Speed Motorsports HPD ARX-03b of Scott Sharp, Ryan Dalziel and David Brabham did not break the 1'40 mark.
