VIDEO – Accident of Jack Aitken (Cadillac) at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The departure of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023 has been eventful. On the first lap, Jack Aitken (Cadillac of Action Express Racing) made a mistake at the exit of the first Mulsanne chicane. The English driver lost control in this section made wet by a downpour a few minutes before the start of the Centenary edition.

Left front axle open, front hood broken, the Cadillac Hypercar was nevertheless able to return to its stand so that the mechanics could carry out repairs.
The Safety Car was deployed following the presence of Inter Europol Competition Oreca 07 n°32 in the gravel trap.
