Drama for Hertz Team JOTA! While leading the race shortly after 20:50 p.m., Yifei Ye made a mistake in the sequence of turns Porsche ! The Chinese veered wide, drove on the wet portion of the Le Mans circuit and hit the wall of tires on the outside.

The damage to the bodywork is significant but the mechanics are already working on the Porsche 963 to restore the Hypercar to normal condition. One thing is certain: she loses several laps on the leading group, which is running under Full Course Yellow (FCY).
