The start of the 90th edition of 24 Hours was eventful. If you feel like you want to take the Toyota ont gardé la main au premier virage, l’Alpine A480 hit a Glickenhaus, without consequences. Further back, Will Owen was sandwiched with the United Autosports #22, between two WRTs, the #31 and the #41. This benefited Robert Kubica, who took the lead in the category with the No. 9 Prema. Owen and Habsburg, on the Realteam by WRT, both returned to the pit lane. Sophia Floersch was also slowing down with the No. 47 Algarve Pro Racing, without knowing the reasons.
