The No. 03 TDS Racing Oreca 46-Nissan driven by Mathias Beche, Pierre Thiriet and Jody Firth, came very close to victory in the LMP2 category. Starting from pole in the category, the No. 46 held its first place until a starter problem caused it to fall in the standings.
“I was careful at the start”, confides Jody Firth. “I was up against professional drivers, but I managed to open up a small gap. My double stint went well, with a car that was really easy to drive. I also tried to consume as little fuel as possible with a view to the end of the race. We managed to do one more lap than the competition. In the end, I am disappointed for the team, but I remain satisfied with my personal performance. »
