Timo Bernhard, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans alongside Romain Dumas and Mike Rockenfeller, was elected ADAC driver of the year by a jury of professionals. The Audi driver was congratulated for his sporting successes this season, in addition to his role with young drivers and his involvement in award ceremonies in his home region. Timo Bernhard won ahead of the driver of Formula 1 Nico Rossberg.
