Disappointed not to have seen “its” 908 HDi FAP pass under the checkered flag of the last 24 Hours of Le Mans, David Floury did not forget to send a message to Peugeot Sport, which had decided to entrust Oreca with its fourth car.
“First of all, I have great sadness for Peugeot Sport affirms the Technical Director of the Var team. They worked a lot to achieve such a competitive car. They didn't deserve this. It?s racing and that?s what makes Le Mans. This is why a good result is so pleasant when you manage to obtain it. On Wednesday we made a small mistake. But the team was able to re-mobilize and that's what I remember because it wasn't easy. The team was impeccable, as were the drivers. We showed that we are capable of fighting with the big guys. »
