Deemed too unreliable to participate in the test day of 24 Hours of Le Mans, Peugeot 908 HYbrid4 will not be present on the great Sarthe circuit on April 24 (see here). Perhaps a blessing in disguise for the Peugeot Sport team, which will thus be able to concentrate on the three new 908s powered by a V8 HDi FAP which will participate in the 79th edition of the Le Mans classic on June 11 and 12. As the 13 km route is not open the rest of the year, this day promises to be of crucial importance, a month and a half before the 629 Hours.

“Our main objective this season is the 24 Hours of Le Mans, underlines the Director of Peugeot Sport Olivier Quesnel. We have to do everything we can to win this race with our brand new Peugeot 908. We have one day of driving on this circuit to gather as much information as possible. Each kilometer completed by our pilots will be useful for us to arrive in the best possible condition in June. »
