Damon Hill, World Champion Formula 1 in 1996 and president of the British Racing Driver's Club, will join the group of racing stewards at two Grands Prix this season, the FIA has confirmed. The International Automobile Federation, to make the decisions (flags, sanctions?) of the race management more consistent, has decided, from this season, to appoint a former driver alongside the commissioners to help them in their judgment.

For the Bahrain Grand Prix, it is Alain Prost who will fulfill this role. Damon Hill should hold it twice, and certainly in Monaco.
