Replaced by Nick Heidfeld at Sauber during the season, Pedro de la Rosa is looking for a seat for next season. If he doesn't find a starting role, then the Spaniard could be handed a reserve role again, a job he did for Jordan in 1998, Jaguar in 2001, and then McLaren from 2003 to 2009. Currently, he is responsible, along with Romain Grosjean, de développer les gommes Pirelli 2011 au volant d?une Toyota F109.

“If I have to be a reservist or a test pilot, then I will be, but first I will try everything (to be a starter, Editor's note), the 39-year-old driver told ESPN F1. I'm doing everything I can to run, but if it doesn't happen, then it won't be the end of the world. I'm calm because I know what I will do if I don't find a team to race me in the Grand Prix next season. »
