F1: no South African GP

The South African province of Gauteng renounces its candidacy for the organization of a Grand Prix of Formula 1. The Motor Sport Company in the province of Gauteng had an audit carried out to determine the economic impacts of organizing such an event. The conclusions of this report are not conclusive, as job creation is not significant enough to launch this project.
