Hamilton, the F-Duct is not everything

Lewis Hamilton (McLaren), even if it benefits from the F-Duct – system allowing a flow of air to flow under the shell of the car, to exit at the level of the rear wing and to eliminate part of the aerodynamic downforce in line RIGHT ? I think he is not significantly benefited by this trick. The Briton affirms that this system is effective but that it does not bring a considerable gain.

« Everyone says we have a straight line advantage but that's not true, attests the 2008 World Champion. Other cars reach the same top speed as ours at the end of the straight. We are going faster than some teams but they benefit from more support. It's all about having a good balance between the two, and I think we have it. »
