If the Japanese engine manufacturer will officially leave the F1 At the end of the 2021 campaign, Honda will support the Japanese Grand Prix next October by becoming the title sponsor of the event.
The firm, which powers Red Bull and Alpha Tauri, has the wind in its sails with performances displayed by the single-seaters of Milton Keynes and Faenza more than encouraging since the start of the season.
Honda recently unveiled the major developments of its 2021 Power Unit, which will be used by Red Bull and AlphaTauri from 2022, the energy drink brand having taken over the intellectual property on the Japanese V6 turbo / hybrid.
