Christian Horner, Team Principal of Red Bull Racing, savored his team's first victory of the season at the Azerbaijan GP in Baku won by Daniel Ricciardo. The weekend went less well for Max Verstappen which retired following a loss of oil pressure. This is the 4th retirement of the season for Max Verstappen in 8 Grands Prix, the Red Bull driver having suffered a mechanical problem 3 times.
“He had a very good pace last weekend and he proved that the car is becoming more competitive, commented Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner. Luck counts for a lot in motorsport. Daniel celebrated his 4th podium in a row, he has a victory, and luck favors him unlike Max. I'm sure she'll end up siding with Max. He drives really well and is getting better and better. A big result awaits Max soon. »
