Mentioned for some time for the resumption of Renault F1 Team, Gérard Lopez (Mangrove Capital Partners), a businessman based in Luxembourg, declared for the first time that he was interested in purchasing the entity.
“We are seizing opportunities. The current situation is such that there is an opportunity for new teams and new investors. We are in a period of change. If we took over Renault F1, it would be in its own right, as a manufacturer team,” he explained.
