Pirelli, which has started the development of its range of tires F1 with Nick Heidfeld, concluded two successful days of testing with the German driver in Jerez this Thursday. The Italian manufacturer would like to thank Heidfeld for his collaboration, before he joins Sauber for the Singapore Grand Prix, and welcome Romain Grosjean, new development pilot.

« In order not to favor any team, we have decided to terminate Nick's contract, explains Paul Hembery, boss of Pirelli’s Competition division. We would like to thank Nick for his valuable collaboration with our development program and wish him the best for the future. We have chosen Romain for our next tests at Monza. He has gained a lot of experience in a short time, starting with the development of our GP3 tires, so I am confident he will be able to provide us with very useful feedback. »
