Sebastian Vettel achieved the best time in the first phase of the qualifying session for the Turkish Grand Prix (1:27:330). The pilot Red Bull is however the one who has covered the fewest laps on the track. The five eliminated in Q1 are Lewis Hamilton, Nelson Piquet, Sebastien Buemi, Giancarlo Fisichella and Sébastien Bourdais. The other fifteen drivers continue in Q2.
