The COTA circuit in Austin, Texas, will undergo several small modifications just before the United States Grand Prix, held this weekend and which could see Lewis Hamilton to be crowned for the fifth time.
Three “boudins” will be installed on the outside of turn 1, similar to those used at turns 11, 15 and 19. Another modification, this time at turns 16 and 17, with a 2m long vibrator, 1m wide and 50mm high, behind the inside of the curves mentioned. It is at this place that Max Verstappen overtook Kimi Räikkönen last year.
