The No. 8 Audi R1 LMS Ultra of the Belgian Club Audi Team WRT driven by César Ramos and Laurens Vanthoor won this Sunday's qualifying race on the Nogaro circuit for the first round of the 2014 Blancpain Sprint Series. The sister car no. 2 of Enzo Ide and René Rast took second place after an overtake for 2nd place which sent the #28 Lamborghini Gallardo of Bleekemolen – Proczyk into the gravel trap.
The #6 Phoenix Racing Audi of Niki Mayer-Melnhof and Markus Winkelhock completes the brand's hat-trick. The first BMW of Sports Trophy Team Brasil took 4th place with the Bueno – Jimenez duo. The first one Mercedes of Maximilian Buhk and Maximilian Götz ranks 6th just behind the G-Drive Audi R8 of Stéphane Ortelli and Grégory Guilvert.
In the Silver Cup, it was the #4 Audi of Frenchman Vincent Abril and Mateusz Lisowski which won, finishing 8th overall.
