Laurens Vanthoor and César Ramos will start this afternoon in pole position for the Blancpain Sprint Series qualifying race at the Slovakia Ring. The duo of the Audi R8 LMS ultra from the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT achieved a time of 1'58"187 to beat the Lamborghini Gallardo of Jeroen Bleekemolen and Hari Proczyk (Grasser Racing) and the Audi R8 of Marcus' Phoenix Racing Winkelhock and Niki Mayr-Melnhof.
In the Silver Cup, it was the ROAL Motorsport BMW Z4 of Stefano Colombo and David Fumanelli who set the best time. Note the exit from the track in qualifying of Stéphane Ortelli (Audi R8 Team WRT) and the sister car of Vincent Abril and Mateusz Lisowski.
