The Swiss driver based in Shanghai took victory in the final race of the season, under the returning sun. Alexandre Imperatori won ahead of the Japanese Keita Sawa, his runner-up in the championship, the Austrian Martin Ragginger taking 3rd place.
Starting from the second row, Benjamin Rouget appeared in 2nd position from the first corner behind Davide Rizzo, poleman thanks to the reversed grid of the first eight of race 1. Unfortunately, a collision with the Italian shortly after in the first lap caused caused the abandonment of both.
