Carrera Cup: double for Derlot

Renaud Derlot (Graff Racing) signed the double – a first this season – by winning the Sunday Carrera Cup race. Unlike the day before when he had made a solo move from pole, Derlot had to brake pole sitter Anthony Beltoise (Sofrev) at the end of the starting straight to take the lead. Good race management was then enough for the championship leader, who thus created a substantial lead in the general classification over his immediate followers, Kevin Estre (Sofrev) and Mike Parisy (Labre).
