Cette année, l’Allemand de 27 ans brille en Porsche Supercup, championnat dont il occupe actuellement la troisième place du classement général provisoire. Mais ce week-end, l’ancien pensionnaire du Red Bull Junior Team will abandon its Porsche to take the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS ultra, since it was requisitioned by Novadriver to support the Portuguese César Campaniço during the penultimate round of the FIA GT Series in Navarra (Spain) . The R8 LMS holds no secrets for Ammermuller, who has already driven this car at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, in the ADAC GT Masters and even in the FIA GT3 European Championship.
