Winner of the qualifying round this morning in Pro-Am, the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 n°2 of the duo Andreas Simonsen and Sergueï Afanasiev of HTP Gravity Charouz took the overall victory this Sunday afternoon in Slovakia, during the Championship Race. Behind the car from the brand with the star follow three Audis from the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, which thus offers itself a hat-trick in the Pro-Cup. In the No. 12 car, René Rast and Niki Mayr-Melnhof finished ahead of the championship leaders, Laurens Vanthoor and Stéphane Ortelli, who drive the No. 11 Audi, and the Frank Stippler duo? Edward Sandström, entered for his part on the n°13.

Starting from pole position, Sébastien Loeb was surprised by the stolen start of Stéphane Ortelli, who received a drive-through, and slightly hit the #560 Lamborghini LP4-24 of the Kox-Rosina pair. A light touch which will cause a puncture and which will go so far as to set fire to the front of the McLaren MP4-12C n°9, reducing the hopes of the nine-time world champion to ashes WRC from the first seconds of the race. Invigorated after his victory this Sunday morning, the Alsatian was not spared very long by bad luck?
